Globis launches major update of its supply chain management platform

On October 1st, Globis released version 10.4 of its platform to beta-testers. 10.4 -with code name ‘Apollo’ – is the biggest release ever, and reveals a completely new user interface, and a lot of high end features to manage inter-modal transport.

With this release, Globis enables a complete vertical and horizontal integration of all supply chain activities in one real-time platform.

Vertical integration: ranging from cost-price calculation and budgeting, to tender and rate management, to a full WMS & TMS-solution with mobile application and automated billing engine;

Horizontal integration: Combine own resources, inter-company transactions, sub-contracting and spot-capacity to offer logistic solutions completely tailored to your client, with an automated task-management and financial follow-up from budget to actuals.

Also new to 10.4 Apollo is the release of a second generation Rest API, with more than 100 ‘end points’. With this API, solutions can be implemented on a modular base, combining ‘quick wins’ and a long-term vision of the digitisation of your organisation.

With the platform, Globis sets out a clear ambition for Logistic Service Providers: “Globis increases the internal efficiency, increases supplier performance and improves the client’s happiness and willingness-to-pay’.
