Ewals Cargo Care live in 11 new locations

We’re proud to share an important milestone: Ewals Cargo Care has gone live with Globis in 11 additional locations, bringing the total to 16.

A rollout like this isn’t something to rush, and that’s exactly what makes it so satisfying. The trajectory with Ewals has been exactly that, and arriving at 16 live locations is the reward for a lot of careful, shared work.

It’s also the kind of work we value highly: supporting the sustainable growth of our customers through long-term partnerships.

What Globis does for Ewals

Ewals operates in a multimodal logistics environment, where maintaining control over both operations and financial flows is an ongoing focus. The scale shows why: several thousand trailers and a large multimodal fleet, with a major share moving via short sea or rails.

While planning is handled in a dedicated planning system, Globis supports the surrounding processes across the full order lifecycle, from order receipt through to invoicing:

• Managing master data, including relations, articles, addresses, and logistics contracts with specific and often complex requirements
• Receiving EDI orders and linking consignments to the right logistics contract details
• Exchanging data with the external planning package: pushing orders out and pulling status updates back
• Calculating prices (base rates plus the full range of surcharges) and invoicing consignments
• Supporting financial control, including purchase invoice matching for Ewals

The practical effect reduces manual handling and supports a more consistent way of working allowing teams to focus on reliable execution and customer service. Sixteen live locations is a
