As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and extending our software solutions. We are looking for an ambitious Full Stack Developer to join our R&D team. Your role mainly consists of completing the outlined architecture of our new GlobLearn project and turning it into a working product. This job offers you the unique opportunity to build a future-oriented application that can make Supply Chains more efficient through artificial intelligence (AI), more specifically, Federated Learning. You will play a key role in developing a secure environment where each participant stores their own data locally via a Data Vault, but can still contribute to training collaborative machine learning models.
Your Responsibilities:
- Complete and elaborate the project’s architecture where necessary. This means that you will have to make your own choices about the design and implementation of the project.
- Integrate various open-source components crucial for the security and functionality of the Data Vaults and Federated Learning.
- Making the project scalable with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
- Developing different front-ends, for use of the GlobLearn project by the different participants (both administrator and participant)
- Working with machine learning (federated learning) tools.
- Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders to build a user-friendly, secure and scalable solution.

Your Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering or other related field.
